Coach Euan had a unfortunate draft in the recent 2017 Earlston Fantasy Football League draft. Their Kelso 187’s franchise came away with the number 9 ranked draft (out of 12) in the league based on analysis by MyFantasyLeague.com.

Kelso 187’s made their best pick of the draft in round 1, selecting Mike Evans with the 9th pick of the draft, as compared to the 6th spot he should have been selected in, according to ADP rankings. “He’s got the skills,” Kelso 187’s coach Euan said.

Kelso 187’s made their worst pick of the draft in round 5, selecting Terrance West with the 57th pick of the draft, as compared to the 99th spot he should have been selected in, according to ADP rankings. “I know some are thinking that he will be this year’s Ryan Leaf,” Kelso 187’s coach Euan said.

Starting in week 9, Kelso 187’s won’t be able to submit a full lineup, due to having 1 defensive team on bye.

With a little bit of work on the waiver wire this season, or a few strategic trades, coach Euan should be able to turn their 9th ranked draft effort into a championship fantasy team this year.

Coach Euan had a dreadful draft in the recent 2016 Earlston Fantasy Football League draft. Their Kelso 187’s franchise came away with the number 8 ranked draft (out of 12) in the league based on analysis by MyFantasyLeague.com.

Kelso 187’s made their best pick of the draft in round 2, selecting Keenan Allen with the 22nd pick of the draft, as compared to the 18th spot he should have been selected in, according to ADP rankings. “The team is really high on him,” Kelso 187’s coach Euan said.

Kelso 187’s made their worst pick of the draft in round 8, selecting Bilal Powell with the 94th pick of the draft, as compared to the 138th spot he should have been selected in, according to ADP rankings. “He’s a work in progress,” Kelso 187’s coach Euan said.

2015

Coach Euan came away with the number 8 ranked draft (out of 12) in the recent 2015 Earlston Fantasy Football League based on analysis by MyFantasyLeague.com.

The WR position looks to be both strong and deep this year for the 187’s as Euan nabbed Antonio Brown in the 1st round followed by Randall Cobb. Julian Edelman is a strong player, but a bit of reach in the 3rd round. Colston and Crabtree are strong backups.

That strength at WR isn’t reflected in the RB position where the 187s took a number of chances to try to generate RB1 production. Latavius Murray, Ameer Abdullah and Tevin Coleman are all incredibly risky picks who could leave the 187s groping around waivers each week. Perhaps the safest pick at this position was Danny Woodhead who was picked slightly early in the 9th round, but should have a rebound year.

Coach Euan’s gambling nature also came through at the TE position where Zach Ertz and Maxx Williams were picked. Ertz threatened to break out last year, but was limited by competition. Williams is a young Jason Witten, but as with most rookie TEs the NFL has a steep learning curve for his particular position.

Adam Vinatieri and the Texans are a strong K and DST combo.

With a little bit of work on the waiver wire this season, or a few strategic trades, coach Euan should be able to turn their 8th ranked draft effort into a playoff fantasy team this year.
